Day 14 - January 22, 2010

If you haven't heard or have been wondering where I've been...I have the chicken pox. So, I've been home all week...very very itchy! I didn't discover the calamine lotion until yesterday! My mom's response? "Oh, I didn't know you could have any." -.- Anyways, she's banned me from touching my camera and I've been sleeping a lot. I'm about to go to the docs to see how I'm doing and figured I'd do a little update. I look HORRIBLE right now. Oh, and I'll have a few more pics on my Flickr.

Day 13 - January 17, 2010

Went bowling this morning. =] I beat Frank by 3 pins! haha. After getting so many gutters, I hustled him. haha. After, I got my $500 check and deposited to the bank. Then, we picked up the little kids and brought them to the park for a little bit. I spent the rest of the day at Jen's house and I'm actually there right now. Hence, no picture for right now, but I definitely do have a picture that I'll post when I get home. We're currently playing Mahjong with Miguel, Cody, and William. ♥ We're spreading the love of mahjong and harvesting new mahjong players. LMFAO. Anyways, it's late, we're hyper.

Day 12 - January 15, 2010

Exams are done! *yay!* I did..okay. I didnt get any sleep whatsoever last night. I'm surprised I'm awake right now. I have a picture, but I'm too lazy to deal with it right now. I'll definitely update the post with a picture. Anyways, finished that yeast lab! haha. And was the scorekeeper for quidditch. Yes, quidditch. It was a great trial run, definitely another game next Thursday. After, went to Jen's house. Her present wasn't even in the box I showed yesterday. That box was full of shredded paper and a post it note indicating that the gift was in the bag next to her. =] I got her Quelf. We spent the evening playing that. The other best part? My dad called me in the middle of the game, telling me to remember 2 words. "Merry...Christmas" I was like...okay...o.O I came home to a 55-200mm lens. <3 So uber happy right now, but too lazy to mess with it at this very moment. Hopefully, tomorrow I can get some things accomplished, teach Felix math, play mahjong, and mess with my new lens. =]

Day 11 - January 14, 2010

One more exam! I got a 95 on my math exam and a 65 on my bio exam. *go me* Anyways, I just finished putting together Jen's present. It's so epic. The picture is going to be her MLIA submission for tomorrow. heh. Also, quidditch tomorrow! It shall be an entertaining sight. Sigh; There was a bunch of stuff I wanted to say but I can't really remember right now. I went to Golden Coral for dinner. LOL. Not important at all. Oh, I submitted two pieces for the Keiser Show. That's pretty cool. And actually...I'm supposed to be working on my yeast lab, otherwise I'll be in trouble tomorrow. I guess I should go work on that...OH! and I got Funky Flamingo duct tape today. Okay, definitely rambling now. Time to work.

Day 10 - January 12, 2010

I stayed home yesterday because I wasn't feeling well. I didn't get that much accomplished either. =[ I found out that I'm the Young Floridian nominee for Career and Technology though! hehe. =] I'm definitely excited about that. There were a bunch of things I wanted to mention, but they've all managed to escape me at this very moment. =\ Oh, I also got a $500 scholarship from Florida Guard! ^^ Both very happy and exciting things, yet I'm buried under all of this stress. GAH. Currently working on my TOK paper. "To what extent is truth different in mathematics, the arts and ethics?" Any opinions? And about today's picture. Yes, it really has been that long ago. It's a bittersweet feeling. Those are the same roses (link). (Aug 2008)

Day 9 - January 10, 2010

Still working on my History IA paper. Anyways, the highlight of my day is that --> Kuai-Kuai! When the brought my cousin Allan back to Orlando, they brought back Kuai-Kuai for my cousin Jen and I. They got me 10 and she got 16. <3 They bought all the store had. =] They are the best snack ever. I used to get them all the time when I was little and we just recently found them again in Orlando. You have no idea how ecstatic we were to find them. Only difference now is that they don't have prizes in them. haha. Oh and I found out yesterday that my aunt won $100 from the scratch-offs I bought her for Christmas and my other aunt won $30. Quite amazing. =D Currently, I'm not feeling too well. If it weren't for these Kuai-Kuai, I'd be knocked out in bed right now. I'm trying to finish this paper but I really want to call it a night already. =\

Day 8 - January 09, 2010

So I did a little of something and a little of nothing today. I picked up another book from the library and did some reading. I talked with Joey on Skype and went to Jen's house. Oh the things that were said, totally priceless, and we may have found another new person to play mahjong with. Next weekend, I'm definitely thinking of going bowling. Let me know if you'd like to join. =]

Anyways, it snowed today in Orlando! ORLANDO! SNOW! OMG! lol. I can't believe it's going to be in the 20s tonight. Maybe snow? haha. That'd be awesome. Just the fact that there's snow in South Florida. I really want to grab some hot chocolate and just start driving north in a few hours as the temperatures drop. Road trip anyone? I promise to bring my history books with me! Sigh; off to read some more.

Day 7 - January 08, 2010

Went to Denny's, to the park, and watched Inglorious Bastards with Jen, Cody, and Paul after school. It was a pretty great way to end the week and start the long week I have ahead. Phil and Boris also joined for the movie. I got some pretty nice shots today, and I'm incredibly tired right now. I wasn't going to write a post today but I needed to stay awake to make sure Phil was okay and Joey went to hang out with his girlfriend. So, here I am. (Phil's okay btw) I wish he would've stayed, such a rare opportunity. Perhaps, another time? Sigh; now sleep, finally. Oh, and they didn't announce Young Floridian nominees today!! Gah!! I want to know!!! Okay, now sleep. hah.

Day 6 - January 07, 2010

So I missed my first post yesterday. =[ I fell asleep at like 7 and forgot. No worries though. I shall not cheat. Anyways, I found out I got a 12 on my Spanish Oral. meh. I think my score will be averaged out to a 14 though. Barely passing. =\ Oh, and Young Floridian nominees are announced tomorrow! I really hope I'm the nominee for Technology. And..currently, I'm talking to Joey via Skype and since his mic doesn't work I'm talking to him on the phone. haha. But yeah, this is definitely the highlight of my day...hmm.. perhaps even week. =P Thankies Joey! =D

Day 5 - January 05, 2010

Ahh! My Spanish Oral is tomorrow! I don't know what I am going to do!!! =\ My head isn't working right now. I so hope that everything works out. She probably isn't happy with me at all right now. School was cold! 3 sweatshirts and still cold, even when the room was fine! It was weird to feel that like cold tingle. After, I got another book from the library and went to buy some new pants. What is it with skinny jeans?! Seriously!? It was frustrating, and then when I found one I liked, they didn't have my size! -.- Oh, and NCIS was very good tonight. I'm so out of it, I could barely keep track of that. xD Now, for a nap and then memorizing my oral. And...I cheated a little. I don't have the time for a picture today and I wanted to use this the other day but didn't. So here it is!...a shot of my now usable desk! (for those who may not have believed me haha) Wish me luck! Day 4 - January 04, 2010

Wow, what a day it has been. The World Lit Papers are turned in and done! Next item to tackle: formal spanish oral. *runs away* Mi tema es una comparacion entre el fotoperiodismo en espana y los estados unidos. Why, why, why! Would I pick such a topic?! What is she going to ask me about?! Sigh; Well, the math test went okay...I think. I just need to take my Bio test tomorrow. Oh, and we've been assigned to people watch for Theory of Knowledge. haha. Should be interesting. We all get to be creepers for a week. Aside from that, I took a nap when I got home, and around the time I needed to wake up but didn't want to, I managed to get a bombardment of calls/texts on my phone. Thanks guys. Oh, and about that nap...apparently my brother, sister, and I all managed to be knocked out at the same time and all woke up around the same time. My mom was freaked out. She was like...I turn around and you're all sleeping!! Anyways, new Secret Life and Make it or Break it! Both were okayish, seemed a bit predictable but at least not completely horrible. I can't wait for NCIS tomorrow! =D

Day 3 - January 03, 2010

It would be amazing to have some hot chocolate right now. Anyways, I have yet to really tackle all of the things I wanted to get done. That's okay though. I got 4 books from the library and will get two more on Tuesday. I'll eventually read bits and pieces of those...
Now, to get back to my work...again. Oh, and I wonder if someone would recognize that puppy. ;D

Day 2 - January 2, 2010

There's only one day left of break. =\ I didn't have a very productive day today, but the night is still young..ish. I did however finally figure out what I'm doing for my History IA. I still need to do a bit more research, but it was a good advancement.
For some reason, I feel like things have turned around...not completely but I think slowly but surely. =] Something just feels different. I've also realized a major thing in my life...nothing has really changed. I went through some of my old things and a lot of the things I've been iffy about recently have always been in my life; I just never really thought about them in this manner. And yes, I know, in reality, my downs really aren't that bad, I just tend to forget that on occasion. Anywho, I'm back to work. Hasta luego. =]

Oh, and things are definitely flip-flopped.

Day 1 - January 01, 2010

Well, here goes nothing! Not the best picture but I think it captures my new year pretty well. It's interesting to toast and take a picture at the same time. To start off the new year, I finished cleaning my room and now have a bunch of things to donate. I have to say that 2009 definitely wasn't a very good year for me, but I'm hoping that 2010 will bring better memories. Now, it's time for me to stop procrastinating and do my dreaded homework. Welcome to my life. =]
